The Fauldhouse meet was the first outside meet of the season, and for a couple of swimmers in the squad, it was their first ever meet against other clubs! Our only eight year old boy, Jorge Sanchez, led the way with a medal in four of his five individual events, including two silvers and a gold. There were strong swims from the 9 year old boys in the squad as well, including Robbie Boyd with a bronze in the 50m BK, James Burnett with four top six finishes, and Rory Stobie with an excellently paced first outing in the 200m FC. As for the girls, we had lots of strong swims and big pb’s from Eilidh C Stewart, Mhairi Noronha and Carmen Sanchez, while Eilidh Stewart made top six in her 50 BR, and Eilidh Noronha had three oh-so-close seventh place finishes. For many of the swimmers, this was a new environment, but they all rose to the challenge and everyone came away with at least one pb! Well done!
